Cara Membuat Latihan Soal dengan Hot Potatoes

Hot potatoes adalah aplikasi untuk membuat bank soal. Fungsi hot potatoes adalah untuk membuat materi pengajaran secara interaktif berbasis web. Software ini dibuat oleh universitas Victoria di Canada. Program ini bisa diperoleh secara gratis melalui alamat ini https://hotpot.uvic.ca.


Hot Potatoes terdiri atas 6 program, yaitu:


  • JQuiz : Program untuk menyusun materi latihan pilihan ganda.

  • JMix : Program untuk membuat latihan menyusun kalimat.

  • JCross : Program untuk menyusun materi dalam bentuk teka-teki silang.

  • JMatch : program untuk membuat latihan dengan model menjodohkan.

  • JCloze : Program untuk menyusun latihan dalam bentu essai.

  • The Masher : Program untuk mengkompilasi beberapa jenis latihan di Hot Potatoes.

Berikut adalah contoh dari beberapa program hot potatoes dengan materi aritmatika sosial,


  1. JQuiz


  • Buka aplikasi hot potatoes terlebih dahulu

  • Pilih program JQuiz

  • Lalu akan muncul tampilan seperti di bawah ini

  • Isilah kolom-kolom kosong dalam program JQuiz,

          Title digunakan untuk mengisi jenis latihan,

          Q1 digunakan untuk mengisi soal pertama,

          Answer digunakan untuk mengisi jawaban dari A sampai D,

          Feedback digunakan untuk memberikan respon atas jawaban yang dipilih,

          Centang kotak correct untuk menunjukkan jawaban yang benar dari soal pilihan ganda.

  • Kemudian save lembar kerja anda di pada sebuah folder.

  • Jika ingin menambahkan gambar pada tampilan soal, pilihlah beberapa gambar lalu masukkan ke dalam folder yang sama dengan lembar kerja JQuiz anda.

  • Lalu klik menu insert - picture - picture from local file - lalu pilih gambar yang ingin  ditambahkan kemudian klik "ok".

  • Kemudian save lagi lembar kerja anda.

  • Jika ingin melihat hasil tampilan JQuiz anda buka lembar kerja anda tadi lalu klik menu "Create or edit a reading text to be included in the exercise" atau tekan Ctrl+R

  • Jika ingi mengubah tampilan JQuiz menjadi lebih menarik anda bisa mengklik menu configuration file lalu klik Appearance lalu edit sesuai keinginan anda.

  • Jangan lupa untuk di save kembali.

N-Seoul Tower

  Seoul Tower , also called Namsan Tower or, more recently, N Seoul Tower, is located in the centre of Seoul on Mount Namsan. Seoul Tower was opened to the public for the first time on the 15th of October 1980. Namsan Tower is 236.7 metres high and, because it stands on top of Mount Namsan, it rises to about 480 metres above sea level, thus allowing visitors to enjoy a great panoramic view of Seoul. Seoul Tower was remodelled in 2005 and it opened to the public again on the 9th of December 2005, with the name of N Seoul Tower (N stands for new).
